Local SEO setup

Getting found by the people two towns over who are searching right now.

Who this is for

The website is fine. The problem is that somebody in your own town can search for exactly what you do and never see you, while a competitor with a worse site sits above you. That is genuinely frustrating, and it is usually less mysterious than it looks: a handful of specific things that were never set up, rather than anything wrong with the work you do.

What you get

  • Google Business Profile set up or claimed, categories chosen properly, and your service area defined
  • LocalBusiness structured data on your site, so search engines can read your name, area, and contact details without guessing
  • A page for each service and each town you serve, so there is something real to rank for each search
  • Titles and descriptions rewritten to match what people actually type
  • Search Console connected and your sitemap submitted, so you can see what you rank for instead of wondering
  • A written list of what I changed and what to do next, in plain language

How it works

  1. Audit I go through the site and your Google presence and write down what is missing. You get that list whether or not you hire me for the fixes.
  2. On-page fixes Structure, titles, schema, and any pages that need to exist for the searches you care about.
  3. Google Business Profile Set up, verified, and filled in properly. This is often the single biggest lever for a local service business.
  4. Handover Search Console connected, sitemap submitted, and a plain-language summary of what changed.

Local search does not move overnight. This is setup work that makes ranking possible, not a switch that puts you first. Anyone promising you position one by a specific date is guessing, and Google verification of a Business Profile can take a couple of weeks on its own.
