Website redesign

The site exists. It just loads slowly, looks its age, and has never brought you a call.

Who this is for

There is already a website. Maybe you paid someone years ago, maybe you built it yourself on a Saturday, maybe whoever made it stopped answering emails. Either way it loads slowly, it looks its age, and it has never once made the phone ring. The good news is that starting again does not mean starting from nothing, and it does not mean giving up the ground you have already gained in search.

What you get

  • A straight read on what is there and whether a rebuild is even the right answer
  • Every page rebuilt from scratch. Not a new theme dropped onto the old bones, which is how you end up with the same slow site in different colours
  • The text that shows up in Google search results rewritten for every page, because on most old sites it is either the company name repeated or whatever the builder left there in 2019
  • Redirects from every old page to its new home, so the traffic and rankings you already earned come with you
  • Loads fast on a phone, which is usually the single biggest thing wrong with the old one
  • A clear path to contacting you on every page, instead of a Contact link buried in a menu
  • The same technical SEO groundwork as a new build: schema, sitemap, and a Search Console handover

How it works

  1. The call What you have now, what you want instead, and what is actually broken. Scope and price agreed up front.
  2. Before I build I map every existing page. Anything that has traffic or rankings gets a redirect to its replacement. This is the step people skip, and skipping it is how a redesign quietly loses a business its search traffic.
  3. The build Every page rebuilt from scratch, same five days as a new site once the map is agreed. Nothing is carried over from the old build, which is why it ends up fast rather than slightly less slow.
  4. After launch I watch Search Console for a couple of weeks to catch anything that broke in the move, and fix it.

If your current site is doing better than you think, I will tell you that on the call rather than sell you a rebuild you do not need.
